Apologies for the audio quality on this one folks, sometimes doing something a bit differently results in some quirks. But, I couldn't resist reviewing this lager in this format for many reasons. Staying in Fort William, the spiritual home of UK mountain biking meant I just had to get out there, but more apt than that, this is where I also first discovered this incredible craft lager, on an equally sunny day many years ago, whilst watching the UK leg of the MTB Downhill World Cup, a craft brewery stand caught my eye. The rest, as they say, is history. I've been in love with this brew ever since.

Black Isle Brewery describe themselves as; Black Isle was started by David Gladwin in 1998. An unemployed beer lover, he set out to make world-class beer using barley and hops, grown on organic farms, without the use of destructive chemicals. Today we can brew up to 10,000 litres a day packaged in bottles, casks and kegs. We ship beer all over Scotland, the UK and around the world from Norway to Japan.
