I wanted to document my first attempt at home brewing as something to look back on, and, to help you understand what NOT TO DO given my complete ineptitude at brewing beer.

In this, my first attempt at home brew, I put together a Get 'Er Brewed Experimental Lager Kit which uses liquid malt (not malt extract as I said in the video) and a lager yeast which ferments at ale temperatures - perfect for home-brewing.

I'm using a Get 'Er Brewed Brew in a Bag (BIAB) Starter Kit, although, as this kit does not require whole-grain, we really only needed the fermenting bucket, paddle, thermometer, hydrometer and airlock for this particular brew.

I'll check in with you again once we get to the next stage: dry-hoping. Which should be in around 10 days time.
